Welcome to the Mérida Stisycamp Camp for Adults!

For the fourth time, we arrange Merida Stisycampcamp for adults, with Aslak Myrstad as an instructor. This is suitable for those who want to develop you technically as a cyclist.

Merida Stisykkelcamp is suitable for those who want a thorough introduction to mountain biking. Being good in the terrain saves you a lot of time and unnecessary use of power. The red thread in everything that happens at the camp is to make you more confident and independent of the items that are required to ride a bike. Be it training plan, carrying out planned training, evaluating your own training, mowing and keeping your bike in order, and not least, cycling in an amazingly beautiful area with highways and roads.

As we cycle, the elements will be emphasized to make you better at the challenges you face in bike rides and training trips.

Launch Friday 21. June at 12.00. Ending Sunday 23. June at 14.00.

Accommodation in apartments associated with Thon Hotel Skeikampen. All meals are served at Thon Hotel Skeikampen. The participants live together in apartments where there is a common living room, kitchen and bathroom. Two and two share bedrooms. For addition of kr. 200, - per night you can get a room.

Price and registration

Price for the course is kr. 3200, and includes accommodation in apartments associated with Thon Hotel Skeikampen. The price also includes

- 3 meals every day (Thon Hotel Skeikampen)
- Merida bicycle suit


We start with a joint lunch Friday 21. June at 12.00 followed by an orientation meeting on what to expect during the week. Registration will be at the reception at Thon Hotel Skeikampen / Skeikampen.

Instructor Aslak Mørstad is well known for his thorough and detailed mountain bike course.

At the camp we will address the following topics:

- Proper seat position and work with basic techniques, make the most of the walk, balance / position on the bike

- Technique in the terrain; We put together more techniques, cycling technical parties on the trail.

- Tackle steep uphill and difficult obstacles.

- Track selection, learn to ride safer and faster downward, swing technique.

- Training plans and preparations for the riding day.

- Mekkekurs, how to fix the bike by accident, what do you need to bring on a ride.

- Diet, what do you eat for optimal energy.
