Golf
Play golf on the Nordic region's highest golf course in fantastic nature on the high mountains! At Skeikampen you can play golf on our 18 hole course with natural greens up to 860 meters above sea level!
There is high quality on the pitch, the grass grows well and it's a scenic experience to play on it. It is located in beautiful countryside and within walking distance of all accommodation companies at Skeikampen. The course's pair is 69.
Social tournaments are held many of the weekends throughout the season. Times for the beginner courses are announced on the clubs' website, and there are wonderfully good package deals on courses, memberships and free play on the field.

The spectacular cultural festival Peer Gynt is held annually in early August on Gålå – our neighboring mountain, only 30 km from Skeikampen.
The festival brings together audiences from all over the country for magnificent cultural experiences in the heart of Gudbrandsdalen. It stems from the meeting between the local legendary figure Per and Henrik Ibsen's world-famous Peer, and has had a clear vision since the beginning: We're going to shake you up.
Through concerts, theater performances, experience dinners, award ceremonies and art exhibitions, the festival wants to touch, engage and give the audience memories that last.
The festival will be cancelled in 2026. July 31–August 9, with Peer Gynt at Gala as the main performance. Although the performance has almost 100 years of history, it is unique from year to year.

In 2026-2027, award-winning Thorbjørn Harr will be on stage in the title role of Peer Gynt. He will be joined by a star-studded cast of actors; Ellen Birgitte Winther as Mother Åse, Gina Bernhoft Gørvell as Solveig, Terje Strømdahl as Dovregubben, Stine Fevik in the roles of Den Grønnkledde, Anitra and Ingrid, Håkon Ramstad as Knappestøperen and Cato Skimten Storengen as both Begriffenfeldt and the cook.
